Our Purpose & Story

Daybreak Mental Health Society is a non-profit organization created to honor & celebrate the life of our dear friend Tye Patrick Reid Quinlan, who lost his battle to mental health in September 2023.

We are committed to raising awareness, fostering open & honest conversations with the ones we love, and creating a supportive space where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered to seek help. We want everyone to know that even though times can feel dark, there is always a daybreak!

The name "Daybreak Mental Health Society" was inspired by Tyes passion for the outdoors & adventure. He devoted every ounce of his energy into opening morning of elk season. He continuously sought "daybreak" each morning on his hunts . Tye was a kind, energetic and bright spirited man who was loved by so many more people than he could have ever imagined.

The goal of our non-profit is to create a space for open conversation on mental health. Future plans include hosting community speaking events, bursary applications for blue collar students seeking employment in the trade industry, merchandise sales and more.

Please follow along as we create a page devoted to mental health, suicide awareness, and seeking help when times feel heavy.

There is always daybreak after dark!!
